Little ones get lots of attention at Vail. Our kids’ and teens’ programs focus on all sorts of terrain to give them the confidence they need to hit the slopes or the parks. Our instructors are experts at teaching technique, so kids improve instantly. Private lessons, groups and specialty programs are all available. All-day group lesson programs are available for children ages 3-12, with classes divided by age and ability. All-day snowboard group lessons are offered for children 7-12 years. Children meet in the Children’s Centers located at Golden Peak and Vail Square (formerly LionsHead) in Vail. The Children’s Centers are a one-stop shop for lift tickets, rentals and ski school for your children. All kids taking group lessons ages 7-12 and teens 13 and older must be ticketed, ready to ski and checked in by 9:30am. Children ages 3-6 years must be ticketed, checked in and ready to ski by 9:45am. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes prior to lesson start time for registration, ticketing and rentals.
Too cool for school - join the teen program and experience a new dimension in both skiing and riding. Offered to ages 13 and older. Meet new friends, explore the mountain and receive just the right amount of instruction to enter the park and pipe with confidence. Teen groups may be combined with either the 7-12 or adult group programs.
