Skiing on Arrowhead Mountain began in 1988. In 1993, Vail Associates acquired Arrowhead with the idea to create an exciting new gateway to Beaver Creek Mountain from Arrowhead Village through the development of Bachelor Gulch Village. Arrowhead Village has a distinctly European flavor featuring quaint, meandering streets for use by pedestrians with no vehicular traffic.
Vail Resorts' unique "Village-to-Village" skiing concept has allowed Arrowhead owners and visitors to enjoy skiing at Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch, as well as the beautiful slopes of Arrowhead Mountain in the winter or accessing it via hiking trails in the summer.
During the summer months, Arrowhead is a golfer's delight. It boasts a challenging, scenic golf course, country club and delightful restaurant.
