For a more traditional escape indulge in an elegant, stretch limousine. If you are looking for transportation for your friends and family there are many local, commercial shuttles that can be utilized to make pick ups a breeze.
Transportation in and around the Vail Valley is simple as long as you are informed and prepared. From free bus systems to the county-wide public transportation network to private taxis and shuttles, you’ll find a variety of solutions for any of your transportation needs.
Within Vail and Beaver Creek Villages, you’ll find complimentary transportation. The Vail in-town bus runs between Gold Peak and Lionshead on a regular route – check "http://www.vailgov.com" and www.vailgov.com for official schedules. Beaver Creek Village is home to the “point-to-point” transportation system. Simply find a complimentary shuttle phone and ask for a driver to pick you up wherever you are, and take you to your destination (within Beaver Creek).
The ECO bus system is an affordable network of transportation in and around the Vail Valley. The service is free within East Vail-West Vail routes, and nominal for service all the way up and down the Valley, as far as Gypsum to the West and Leadville to the North. The buses make stops along the way, so it may take a bit longer to reach your destination than you think.
