We love sharing this special town with our visitors from near and far. No matter the distance, it is always important to do your research and make sure you are prepared for the mountain environment, elevation and the quirks of this old mining town! All reservations require a valid credit card and a 1 night deposit to confirm booking.
Any reservations made through 3rd party vendors (Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, etc) that require changes must be made through that vendor. We are unable to alter your length of stay, rate, or dates, so please contact the provider directly.
All reservations require a valid credit card and a one-night room deposit plus tax to book.
The full payment of your stay is due one week prior to your arrival and will be charged automatically on that day to the credit card on file.
**Holiday Reservations (December 17 2021 - January 1, 2022) require full payment due 14-days prior to arrival
- Renting a Vehicle? Request a vehicle with 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive with snow tires
-Mountainous regions experience a variety of weather patterns - drive slow and take your time. We are not able to cancel reservations without a fee due to travel and road conditions. We recommend getting travel insurance to reduce the stress!
-Currently, many local mountains require reservations for skiing/snowboarding due to COVID. Book early & online!
Due to the small size of our property, the limited number of rooms, and the destination nature of our business, it is necessary that we strictly enforce a fair and honest cancellation policy. As a small, independent property, we ask for your understanding in respecting our cancellation, change and no-show policy. Please read carefully.
All reservations require full payment one week (two weeks during designated holidays) prior to arrival. Any cancellations after this time are non-refundable.
We understand that cancellations are often beyond your control and for this reason we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. We will be happy to supply your travel insurance company with any needed documentation regarding our policy and your reservation.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is guaranteed at 3pm - 8pm. Check-out is at 10am. We do our best to accommodate early arrivals and late check-ins, but cannot guarantee the availability. Please call to inquire.
Lobby Hours & Late Arrivals
We are NOT a 24 hour lobby. Our hotel lobby is open from 8am - 8pm daily. If you plan on arriving after the lobby has closed, we recommend you contact us as soon as possible to arrange a late check-in.
There is no mask mandate at this time, however, we encourage all our guests to wear masks, provide distance to people outside their party, and to wash hands frequently or use the hand sanitizer provided on property. For the safety of our guests and our staff, we are not offering daily housekeeping services at this time. For more information, please visit our COVID page above.
We love pets and wish we could welcome them all - but we can't. We have 3 designated pet rooms on property. These rooms need to be booked directly with us via phone or email. If you book online, we DO NOT guarantee your pet request. All pet rooms require an additional $35 housekeeping fee for the stay. Cats are not allowed on the property. Any guests arriving on property with a pet that was not preregistered and/or cannot be accommodated into a pet room will be charged a $150 cleaning fee.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!
Red Cliff does not have cell phone service, however free long distance calling is available in the room. Once on property or across the street at Mango's, you can activate your wifi calling on your cellular device. Otherwise, we recommend you give your phone a rest and enjoy getting off the grid.
Altitude & Hydration
Red Cliff is located at 8,750 ft above sea level! We highly recommend drinking plenty of water before your trip and throughout your time with us. We also recommend drinking electrolytes and applying sunscreen often.
